This is a multicenter study that will be conducted at approximately 20 centers and up to 30 centers, if the sample size will be increased following interim assessment. The Q Therapeutic System (BQ 3.0) is a wearable medical device that produces and delivers non-invasive, extremely-low-intensity and low-frequency, frequency-tuned electromagnetic fields in order to stimulate neuronal networks with the aim of reducing disability and promoting neurorecovery. The Q Therapeutic System (BQ 3.0) is indicated for adjunctive use in a clinical facility or home setting, in addition to standard-of-care therapies. - In Stage 1 (starting 4-21 days after the index stroke event to day 90 post stroke), participants will be randomly assigned (1:1) to receive either active or the sham treatments, up to 5 times a week, and at least to a total of 45 treatments. - In Stage 2 (day 90 to day 180 post stroke), participants in both the active and the control group will be allowed to continue to receive active treatments, up to 5 times per week. - In stage 3 (day 180 to day 270 post stroke), participants will not receive any treatments and would be followed up until the final visit at day 270. Each session will last approximately 60 minutes, with stimulation activated for up to 40 minutes, in conjunction with a home-based exercise program. Treatments may be administered in the hospital, in the clinic or in a home setting. The study will enroll 100-122 adult subjects who will be randomly assigned (1:1 allocation ratio) to either active or sham study intervention using the BQ 3.0 system. Genetic counseling and testing for hereditary breast cancer may reveal that you, and possibly your blood relatives, are at increased risk for the disease across the lifespan. This includes biological children, both male and female. We do not yet know the best ways to educate mothers who have a risk gene (are BRCA+) about whether, when, and how to share genetic information with their children or manage their thoughts and feelings. The purpose of this study is to help mothers make more informed choices about talking with children about hereditary breast cancer, provide them with age-and gender-appropriate information and emotional support, and improve their psychological well-being. The treatment in this study is Rina-S monotherapy (by itself). All participants will receive active drug; no one will be given placebo. The treatment duration will be different for every participant, but an average of 12 months is expected. Participants will be asked to attend 1 to 5 visits at the study clinic for each cycle (duration of cycle is 3 weeks). If a participant's cancer stays the same or gets better, and there are not any serious problems, participants can keep getting study treatment for as long as the study is open. Participation in the study will require visits to the study site(s). During site visits, there will be various tests (such as blood draws) and procedures (such as recording of heart activity, imaging/X-rays) to monitor whether the study treatment is safe and effective. Researchers are looking for new ways to treat people with proficient mismatch repair (pMMR) endometrial cancer (EC) that is advanced or recurrent. - EC is a type of cancer that starts in the tissues inside the uterus (womb) - pMMR indicates that certain normal proteins are present in the cancer cells - Advanced means the cancer has spread locally or to other parts of the body (metastatic) and cannot be removed with surgery - Recurrent means the cancer came back after surgery Sacituzumab tirumotecan (also known as sac-TMT) and pembrolizumab are the study medicines. Sac-TMT is an antibody drug conjugate (ADC). An ADC attaches to specific targets on cancer cells and delivers treatment to destroy those cells. The goal of this study is to learn if people who receive sac-TMT with pembrolizumab live longer and without the cancer getting worse compared to people who receive pembrolizumab alone. This phase III trial compares the effect of adding docetaxel to hormonal therapy and apalutamide versus hormonal therapy and apalutamide alone in treating patients with prostate cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Docetaxel is in a class of medications called taxanes. It stops tumor cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Hormone therapy for prostate cancer, also called androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), uses surgery or drugs to lower the levels of male sex hormones in a man's body. This helps slow the growth of prostate cancer. Apalutamide is in a class of medications called androgen receptor inhibitors. It works by blocking the effects of androgen (a male reproductive hormone) to stop the growth and spread of tumor cells. Giving docetaxel in addition to the usual treatment of hormonal therapy and apalutamide may work better in treating patients with metastatic prostate cancer than the usual treatment alone. Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is a condition where the immune system mistakenly destroys platelets, which are cells that help stop bleeding. This leads to a low number of platelets, making it easier to bruise or bleed. The main aim of this study is to learn whether mezagitamab, when given just under the skin (subcutaneously [SC]), is effective in keeping the platelet count of adults with ITP stable when compared to a placebo. A placebo looks like medicine but doesn't have any active ingredients in it. The participants will be treated with mezagitamab for up to 6 months. EASi-KIDNEY™ (The Studies of Heart & Kidney Protection With BI 690517 in Combination With Empaglifl1

Kidney Disease, Chronic
This study is open to adults with chronic kidney disease at risk of progression. People

angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB). P1 expand
This study is open to adults with chronic kidney disease at risk of progression. People with and without type 2 diabetes can take part in this study. The study is open to people who take other medicines called angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEi) or angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB). People who already take empagliflozin or any other sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitor (SGLT2i) can also join. The study is also open to people who currently do not take any of these treatments. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called BI 690517 helps people with chronic kidney disease when taken in combination with a study medicine called empagliflozin. Worsening of kidney function increases the risk for kidney failure, cardiovascular disease, and heart failure hospitalisation. After a run-in period, during which participants are confirmed to be receiving clinically appropriate renin-angiotensin system blockade and are established on empagliflozin, they are randomly assigned (by chance) to 1 of 2 groups. One group receives BI 690517 tablets, and the other group receives placebo tablets. Placebo tablets look like BI 690517 but do not contain any medicine. Participants take 1 study tablet once a day, in addition to empagliflozin, for the duration of the study. The doctors document when participants experience worsening of their kidney disease, go to hospital due to heart failure, or die of cardiovascular problems during the study. The time to these events is compared between the 2 treatment groups to see whether the treatment works. The study continues until the required number of events have occurred which is about 3 to 4 years. During this time, participants visit the study site about 5 times within the first 6 months. Then they visit the study site every 6 months. At the visits, doctors regularly check participants' health, take blood and urine samples, measure blood pressure and weight, check kidney function, and take note of any unwanted effects. This phase I/II trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of iadademstat when given together with atezolizumab or durvalumab, and studies the effect of the combination in treating patients with small cell lung cancer that has spread outside of the lung in which it began or to other parts of the body (extensive stage) who initially received standard of care chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Iadademstat may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab or durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
